We have a Trust that reports on Form 1040NR. The tax calculated on the worksheet is not pulling to Line 16 on the 1040NR properly. Is there a glitch preventing this? Everything checks out from how 2019 was input but 2020 is not pulling the tax over

@TylorValdez1 Really?
No one wants to call support because
1. They can hardly ever get a person and
2. When they do, the people are usually not knowledgeable.
The more I know the more I don’t know.

This one is hard to duplicate. It would be easier if we could get a copy of the client file to see what inputs are driving the issue. Right now there hold times are not very long at all.

Thanks Everyone! A huge shout out to Lacerte support on this. I called the line, got someone within 3-5 minutes on the phone and they helped walk through it.
The issue needed an override to solve. Since it's a trust reporting on 1040NR, we had to fill in the calculated tax based on the trust tax brackets and hard code it. Then, we added that tax on the AMT input screen and viola!
