Every time I sign in I get the pyramid page and can never find the article which the critical updates refer to. It is very frustrating.

From across the top, select Help > View Alerts > They will show in a slide in on the right side. Each offers more and View Article The view article will take you to the page you want.
You need to do each separately, there is no one single link to all Critical Alerts. Most recent is https://proconnect.intuit.com/community/state-taxes/help/manual-entry-forms-in-lacerte/00/106911
