Hello all,
I am trying to help a client with her Lacerte Tax issue. She is getting the below error either when she moves from client to client or when she wants to add additional information to tax fields.
The error shows the following information:
ERROR MESSAGE
==============
List index out of bounds (27)
Log time
==============
2/1/21 3:19:38 PM
Call stack
==============
[50155FF9]{rtl190.bpl } System.Classes.TList.Get
[5058D89B]{vcl190.bpl } Vcl.Forms.TScreen.GetCustomForms
[505919DA]{vcl190.bpl } Vcl.Forms.TApplication.DoActionIdle
[50591B60]{vcl190.bpl } Vcl.Forms.TApplication.Idle
[50590E13]{vcl190.bpl } Vcl.Forms.TApplication.HandleMessage
[50591141]{vcl190.bpl } Vcl.Forms.TApplication.Run
(015FBB30){w20tax.exe } [019FCB30]
I have already done a fresh "forced" installation but that doesn't seem to do the trick.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
Peter

Try turning off Google File Sync or any other synchronous file sync'ing while Lacerte is open, and especially during updates. I used to get many errors, including index errors, when having GFS on. It's safe to turn it back on after you exit Lacerte.

I ran the Lacerte Hub tool and went through the different steps of the component repair. Everything came back as working properly. I also did a Forced websetup for both the Lacerte20 and 19 installations.
Restarted and still getting the same index errors.
