Backup the return. Make copy of the return with a change in client number like XXXXIF. If you are REP, make the client number all 9s and there will be not REP fee to go do various scenarios.

This works in most cases. But having 999-99-9999 as a SSN makes it an "invalid" ssn which will remove calculation completely on many credits. IE Recovery Rebate credit, Earned income credit, child tax credit, and more. Is there any way to get true estimates without getting charged, and without using the "invalid" ssn? Pretty limited software if not. I know drake allows these types of estimate files and features.
