Michigan people-do you know if the sale of a personal residence in Michigan for a gain of $52,000 is taxable to Michigan if you move to another state mid-year? Nontaxable federal since met rules to not be taxable.

Yes, but MI sends it there and I can find nothing in the MI instructions that would seem to indicate they adjust anything related to federal rule regarding sale of home. I do not believe the location of the personal residence is any issue.
