It appears that the trust module in Lacerte includes the whole state refund from the prior year into income, ignoring the tax benefit rule? Is there a fix to this?

Delete the amount. I do not see any other override.
While in Form view, find the entry and RIGHT CLICK to select "Jump to Input"
