The original return that was printed several weeks ago used the same figure for both calculations. I am now ready to e-file the return and an update caused the QBI number to change.

Highlight the return and use Ctrl + L to send it to Lacerte, so they can explain how this happened. I agree, something does not look right. If it is a programming error, sending the return will help analyze it.

I have the exact same issue!! I've called Lacerte and they opened a case, but I haven't heard back. So frustrating.

I had the same issue and it is still not fixed. I just put the correct QBI amount in the override box on Screen 20 Line 17 so I could get it filed correctly.
