Jason is based in Midlothian, Virginia, and when he’s not working, he enjoys reading comic books and watching sports. Jason is no stranger to serving others; he spent 10 years as a high school teacher prior to joining Intuit more than 12 years ago. His favorite thing about serving tax professionals and other customers is finding a way for someone to improve their business and, hopefully, make their lives better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When working with a new customer, Jason’s approach is to listen and understand the customer’s needs and goals before providing recommendations on how to optimize their time and services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I am very careful about what \u2018growth\u2019 means to each customer, and I only learn that by listening to their needs and what they hope to accomplish,\u201d said Jason. \u201cThis starts by just truly slowing down and listening to what the customer is trying to accomplish, and making the best recommendation to fit their needs. For example, for some tax professionals, growing their business may mean fewer<\/em> customers, but offering higher-end services. Others may want to start to sunset their business, so we need to focus on what is going to meet their needs as they wind down.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
