{"id":27473,"date":"2022-12-13T09:00:42","date_gmt":"2022-12-13T15:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/taxprocenter.proconnect.intuit.com\/?p=27473"},"modified":"2023-08-22T11:07:33","modified_gmt":"2023-08-22T16:07:33","slug":"new-study-shines-spotlight-on-top-needs-for-tax-pros","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/accountants.intuit.com\/taxprocenter\/practice-management\/new-study-shines-spotlight-on-top-needs-for-tax-pros\/","title":{"rendered":"New study shines spotlight on top needs for tax pros"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Intuit\u00ae Accountants recently released the 2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/taxprocenter.proconnect.intuit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Taxpayer-Insights-Intelligence-Brief.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Taxpayer Insights &amp; Intelligence Brief<\/a>, a comprehensive study that surveyed more than 3,000 U.S. taxpayers using a tax professional to prepare their taxes.* The study provided a holistic view of a taxpayer\u2019s experience when working with a tax professional to gain insights into their expectations and service needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the tax and accounting profession shifts from leading with compliance-based work to offering <a href=\"https:\/\/proconnect.intuit.com\/tax-advice-planning-for-professionals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tax advisory services<\/a>, the results showed a strong appetite from taxpayers for <a href=\"https:\/\/accountants.intuit.com\/taxprocenter\/tag\/tax-advisory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tax advisory<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/proconnect.intuit.com\/protection-plus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">audit protection\/resolution services<\/a>. In addition, the remote work revolution has increased the value of data storage, security, and <a href=\"https:\/\/proconnect.intuit.com\/esignature\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">electronic signatures<\/a> in the minds of taxpayers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;At Intuit, we strongly believe that to best deliver for tax professionals, it is important to understand what matters utmost to them<em>\u2014<\/em> and that is their clients,&#8221; said Dustin Kroeger, ProTax Group vice president of marketing.&#8221;This study sheds light on what is important to clients regarding not only the services they receive from their pros, but also how they work with their pros.
