We all keep hearing that tax and accounting professionals need to provide more advisory services<\/a>, but what does that really look like? What does it mean? How do you even start to make that kind of a change?<\/p>\n

In my session, “Activate and accelerate your practice into advisory,” at QuickBooks\u00ae Connect<\/a>, Dec. 7-9, 2022, I’ll help you to start answering some of these questions. I will be providing a high-level view of the curriculum that I teach in my Chief Proactive Advisor<\/a> program to get you started on your journey to a more fulfilling career. This is NOT a session where you learn a single advisory “trick” to roll out. This is an exploration of what it takes to make a paradigm shift in how you move into the next phase of your career and business.<\/p>\n

In this session, I’ll share my process for making large changes in one\u2019s firm and life. My process was essential to effectively switching my highly successful tax preparation-based firm into a full advisory firm that has greater profitability, better work-life balance, happier employees, and more satisfied clients.<\/p>\n
