Now is a great time to touch base with your clients to let them know about these deadlines, and to begin preparing for tax year 2021.<\/p>\n<p><b>In <a href=\"https:\/\/taxprocenter.proconnect.intuit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/November-2021-Tax-and-Compliance-Deadlines.pdf\"title=\"\"  target=\"_blank\" rel=\"false noopener\">November<\/a><\/b><b>, it\u2019s recommended that you:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Remind individual clients whose withholding status will change in 2022 to submit new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irs.gov\/pub\/irs-pdf\/fw4.pdf\"title=\"\"  target=\"_blank\" rel=\"false noopener\" target=\"_blank\">W-4 forms<\/a> to their employers.<\/li>\n<li>Remind individual clients who may have underpaid estimated taxes to increase withholding from salary and wages to make up for a shortfall.<\/li>\n<li>Renew your <a href=\"https:\/\/accountants.intuit.com\/taxprocenter\/tax-law-and-news\/are-your-tax-return-preparer-credentials-in-order\/\"title=\"\"  target=\"_blank\" rel=\"false noopener\">Preparer Tax Identification Number<\/a> (PTIN).<\/li>\n<li>Register online to use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irs.gov\/e-services\"title=\"\"  target=\"_blank\" rel=\"false noopener\" target=\"_blank\">IRS e-services<\/a>.
