Whether you still have clients who weren\u2019t able to <a href=\"https:\/\/accountants.intuit.com\/taxprocenter\/tax-law-and-news\/the-consequences-of-missing-an-irs-deadline\/\"title=\"\"  target=\"_blank\" rel=\"false noopener noreferrer\">file on time<\/a> for various reasons, or are moving forward to begin preparing for tax year 2020, it\u2019s time to get your monthly list of tax and compliance deadlines for November 2020.<\/p>\n<p><b>In <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/taxprocenter.proconnect.intuit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/November-Tax-and-Compliance-Deadlines.pdf\"title=\"\"  target=\"_blank\" rel=\"false noopener noreferrer\"><b>November<\/b><\/a><b>, it\u2019s recommended that you:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Remind individual clients whose <a href=\"https:\/\/accountants.intuit.com\/taxprocenter\/tax-law-and-news\/why-your-clients-need-a-mid-year-withholding-checkup\/\"title=\"\"  target=\"_blank\" rel=\"false noopener noreferrer\">withholding<\/a> status will change in 2021 to submit new W-4 forms to their employers.<\/li>\n<li>Remind individual clients who may have underpaid estimated taxes to increase withholding from their salary and wages to make up for a shortfall.<\/li>\n<li>Renew your preparer tax identification number.<\/li>\n<li>Register online to use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irs.gov\/e-services\"title=\"\"  target=\"_blank\" rel=\"false noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">IRS e-services<\/a>. Preparers who anticipate filing 11 or more 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ, and 1041 returns during the year must file electronically.<\/li>\n<li>Set up tax preparation software and test e-filing.
