Every tax business is unique, so you should discuss your specific concerns with someone you hire. This will help <a href=\"https:\/\/accountants.intuit.com\/taxprocenter\/client-relationships\/educating-your-tax-clients-about-security-threats\"title=\"\"  target=\"_blank\" rel=\"false noopener noreferrer\" data-wa-link=\"body_tpc-clientedusecurity\">safeguard<\/a> your business and your clients\u2019 data.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some steps you should take to select a cybersecurity professional:<\/p>\n<p><b>Ask for recommendations<\/b>.\u00a0Talk to other business owners or professionals for recommendations and references.<\/p>\n<p><b>Be selective<\/b>.\u00a0Ultimately, you will need to select the person you trust most.
