corporations.<\/li>\n<li>Remind calendar-year corporations and partnerships with returns on extension of the Sept. 17 filing deadline.<\/li>\n<li>Alert clients who are parents of first-year college students of the American Opportunity tax credit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Compliance Dates:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, Aug. 1<\/strong>\u2013 Semiweekly depositors deposit FICA and withheld income tax on wages paid on July 25-27.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, Aug. 3 <\/strong>\u2013 Semiweekly depositors deposit FICA and withheld income tax on wages paid on July 28-31.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday, Aug. 8 <\/strong>\u2013 Semiweekly depositors deposit FICA and withheld income tax on wages paid on Aug. 1-3.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, Aug. 10:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Semiweekly depositors deposit FICA and withheld income tax on wages paid on Aug. 4-7.<\/li>\n<li>Tipped employees who received $20 or more in tips during July report them to the employer on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irs.gov\/pub\/irs-access\/f4070_accessible.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wa-link=\"body_irs-f4070\" target=\"_blank\">Form 4070<\/a>,
