Intuit Link Organizer Statuses for ProConnect Tax

You can now use statuses to track your progress for reviewing and completing taxpayer documents and requests. The following statuses are now available.

  • Not answered - Need an answer from the taxpayer.
  • Needs review - There is a new or unread answer from the taxpayer that needs to be reviewed.
  • Ready for entry - You've reviewed the answer and deemed it ready for entry into the tax return. Locks the answer so the client can't edit it. Client can still add comments.
  • Completed - There is a new or unread answer from the taxpayer that needs to be reviewed.

You will now see a progression summary wheel based on the requests you have marked with a status in the Link panel.

Using Statuses

To update the status on an organizer item:

  1. Click the status indicator to the left of the request.
  2. Choose the appropriate status.

Updating the status

Does not apply

Any status change on an item marked Does not apply by the taxpayer will clear the text Does not apply below the request. A warning will show on these items to remind you that changing the status will clear the Does not apply
