Generating a New Hampshire BET return in ProConnect Tax

Form BET, Business Enterprise Tax return is required for some Schedule Cs (which may be single-member LLCs) that exceed the gross receipts or enterprise value tax base threshold.

Follow these steps to generate Form BET in the Individual return:
- From the Input Return tab, go to Income ⮕ Business Income (Schedule C).
- Enter information for each Schedule C and mark as Taxpayer, Spouse, or Joint.
- From the Input Return tab, go to State and Local -> Taxes.
- Choose NH BT-Summary Return.
- Under Sole Proprietorship Entity, choose one of the following options for Return Type:
- blank=separate entities
- 1=taxpayer
- 2=spouse.
Follow these steps to e-file Form BET:
- From the Profile tab, check the box to e-file New Hampshire BT-Summary.
- From the Check Return tab, review and clear any diagnostics.
- From the File Return tab, you can e-file the return.
