How do you generate the IN nonresident military spouse earned income deduction?
To generate the Schedule C, line 11 with [code 625] for nonresident military spouse earned income deduction:
- From the Input Return tab, go to State & Local ⮕ Part Yr,/Nonres. Information ⮕ IN Part-Year/Nonresident Info.
- Click on the blue PY/NR Information hyperlink in the upper right corner of this screen.
- Scroll down to the Nonresident Military Spouse Earned Income Deduction section.
- Enter a 1 or 2 in Nonresident military spouse: 1=taxpayer, 2=spouse.
- Enter a 1, 2, or 3 in Deducted amount is included as income on state of domicile tax return: 1=yes, 2=no, 3=n/a.
