
Electing to not claim additional depreciation deduction in a Partnership return in ProConnect Tax

How to make the election not to claim additional depreciation?
- From the Input Return tab, go to Other ⮕ Elections.
- Select Election in the top right corner.
- Select the proper election tab across the top if there are multiple.
- Scroll down to the Election to Not Claim Additional Depreciation Deduction section
- Check the box Elect not to claim additional depreciation [168(k)(7)]
- Either select the checkbox for Property class: All eligible clases of property, or enter the desired class in the Property class field.
