How to allocate expenses for Form 990, Part II, columns (b), (c), and (d)?
- Open Screen 34, Functional Expenses (990).
- Enter the applicable percentage information in Allocation Percentages.
- Enter the expenses in the Total column.
Note: The program multiplies the entries in step 2 by those in step 3 and carries the result to Form 990, Part II. The program calculates the sum of columns (b) through (d) and reports it in column (a).
