Entering Health Savings Account (HSA) contributions for Form 8889 in Lacerte

Input for Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) can be found on Screen 32.1, Health Savings Accounts (8889).

• In the Health Savings Account (8889) section, enter Type of coverage: 1=self-only, 2=family.
• In the Contributions and Deductions section, enter HSA contributions that you made (Press F1) (1 = maximum).
