Individual California Power of Attorney (Form 3520) and Tax Information Authorization (3534) in ProConnect Tax

Generate the California Power of Attorney (Form 3520)

1. From the Input Return tab, go to Miscellaneous Forms ⮕ Power of Att. (2848)/Info Auth (8821).
2. Across the top, select CA.
3. Check the box labeled Print Form 3520-PIT with complete return.
4. Fill out the representative information and any other applicable information on this screen.

Generate the California Tax Information Authorization (Form 3534)

1. From the Input Return tab, go to Miscellaneous Forms ⮕ Power of Att. (2848)/Info Auth (8821).
2. Across the top, select CA.
3. Check the box labeled Print Form 3534 with complete return.
4. Fill out the representative information and any other applicable information on this screen.

ProConnect Tax doesn't print Business Entity Identification numbers, such as the California Corporation number, the Secretary of State number, and Federal Employer Identification Number on the Form 3520 in an Individual return. Likewise, Social Security Numbers don't print in a Business return (1065, 1120, 1120S).
