
Entering charitable contributions in the S-Corporate module of ProConnect Tax

This article will show you how to enter charitable contributions (cash or noncash) in the S-Corporate module of Intuit ProConnect.
Follow these steps to enter cash charitable contributions in the program:
- Go to Input Return ⮕ Schedule K ⮕ Income and Deductions.
- Scroll down to the Deductions section.
- Locate the Charitable Contributions subsection.
- Under the Cash subsection, enter the applicable amounts in:
- 60% limitation
- 30% limitation
Follow these steps to enter noncash charitable contributions in the program:
- Go to the Input Return ⮕ Schedule K ⮕ Noncash Contributions (8283).
- Complete the applicable information for the noncash contribution.
Charitable contributions will flow to the Form 1120S Schedule K, page 3, line 12a and to the shareholder's Schedule K-1, line 12, codes A-G.
