Entering the SMLLC Tax on Schedule C for federal only in ProConnect Tax

For a Single Memeber LLC, how do I enter the $800 LLC fee as an expense for the Schedule C, but not as an expense for California purposes?

  1. Go to the Input Return tab.
  2. On the left-hand navigation menu, select Income > Business Income (Sch C).
  3. Across the top, select Income Statement
  4. Scroll down to the Expenses section.
  5. Scroll down to the Other expenses (Click on button to expand) field.
  6. Enter the fee Amount and a Description for the federal Schedule C.
  7. On the left-hand navigation menu, select State & Local Modifications CA Modifications.
  8. Enter the fee in the Other additions (Click on button to expand) field to add back the expense amount on the Schedule CA.
