How to generate Form 8844 in Lacerte

This article will show you how to generate Form 8844, Empowerment Zone Employment Credit, in Lacerte.

To generate Form 8844 in the program:

1. Go to Screen 34, General Bus. & Passive Act. Credits.
2. Scroll down to the Empowerment Zone Employment Credit (8844) section.
3. Enter any Qualified empowerment zone wages.
