How to resolve ProConnect Tax diagnostic ref. 32220 -CA SMLLC

This article will help resolve the following critical diagnostic:

• CA SMLLC # {PrefixNum} : The consent date is required when e-filing a single-member LLC. (ref. 32220)

Follow these steps to resolve this diagnostic:

1. Go to Input Return ⮕ General ⮕ State and Local ⮕ Taxes
2. Select California
3. Scroll to the California SMLLC section.
4. Under Sole Owner ⮕Consent date, and enter the date.

This will remove the diagnostic and allow the return to be e-filed.
