How to generate Form 8912 in Lacerte

This article will assist you with generating Form 8912, Credit to Holders of Tax Credit Bonds, in the Individual module of Lacerte.

Refer to the IRS Instructions for Form 8912 for more information.

To generate Form 8912 in the program:

1. Go to Screen 38.3, Credit to Holders of Tax Credit Bonds (8912).
2. Select the applicable Bond in the left navigation menu.
3. Enter any applicable fields under the Credit to Holders of Tax Credit Bonds (8912) section.
4. If you need to enter carryovers:
   1. Click the blue Miscellaneous Info link in the left navigation menu.
   2. Under the Miscellaneous section, enter any applicable fields.
