How to generate Form 8586 in ProConnect Tax

This article will assist you with generating Form 8586, Low-Income Housing Credit, in the Individual module of ProConnect Tax.

Refer to the IRS General Instructions for Form 8586 for more information.

To generate Form 8586 in the program:

1. From the Input Return tab, go to Credits ⮕ General Business and Vehicle Cr. 
2. Go to the Low Income Housing tab at the top of the screen.
3. Locate the the Recapture of Low-Income Housing Credit (8611) section.
4. Enter the applicable information.
