How do I generate Form 8830 in the program?

For tax year 2023 the 8830 is now completely phased out. For tax years after 2019 the 8830 has been mostly phased out.

To generate Form 8830 in the program in 2019 and prior:

1. Go to Screen 34, General Bus. & Passive Act. Credits.
2. Scroll down to the Enhanced Oil Recovery Credit (8830) field.
3. Enter the amount in the Qualified enhanced oil recovery costs field.
