What years does ProConnect Tax support

Starting in tax year 2025: ProConnect Tax now supports the current tax year plus the preceding six years of tax returns. For example, if the current tax year is 2025, you'll have access to returns from 2019 through 2025. Returns from years prior to this seven-year window are no longer supported and will be removed from our systems. 

To make sure you retain access to your clients' tax returns outside this supported timeframe, download and save them as PDFs.

By streamlining our data retention to the most frequently accessed tax years, we can sharpen our focus on innovation. This lets us invest more in features like tax planning, and further develop the automations and integrations that make ProConnect Tax the leading tax software available today.

Will this impact your current ProConnect Tax product?

No, this update won't affect your ability to file current or supported-year returns. The change specifically applies to the availability of historical tax data beyond the 7-year supported period.
