Withdrawal of Federal Taxes Not Working

The federal taxes due were not withdrawn on the date entered in ProSeries , but the state taxes were withdrawn on the date that was entered for federal.  Anyone else have this issue?

If you schedule the debit on the same day as you EF'd then sometimes it doesnt pick it up, Im not sure if theyve got a time of day thats too late for pulling the same day or what.

Call the phone number on the 8879 and you can inquire as to whether a payment is scheduled or not.  Be sure to have the clients banking info on hand, it will verify by account /routing number.

We are having the same issue.  About half of our payments that went through Proseries on the extensions have cleared and the other half have not.  All were scheduled for the 10th, states have gone through no problem.  Called Proseries, IRS, and the 8879 number.  All had no answers.  The number on the 8879 could see pmts were scheduled for the 10th but nothing else.

Give it a few more days then have clients call their bank… Big week for IRS sucking money out of millions of accounts… patience
