Meaning your client's F 1099-Consolidated is showing distributions from a partnership on one of the supplemental pages?

If so, your client is like invested in a Publicly Traded Partnership, and you need the K-1.

Sometimes the K-1 is available at https://www.taxpackagesupport.com/

If you have certain information, you can log in as a delegate and download your client's K-1s.

You create your own account and then you provide your client's TIN and you need one of the following:

K-1 account number OR Date of acquisition or disposition during the year OR unit balance during the year.

And the K-1 information gets reported on the partnership K-1 worksheet in the 1040 program
