Ultimate Tax to ProSeries conversion

Hi all, I recently switched from Ultimate Tax (through Universal Tax System) after two years to ProSeries, but am struggling to see if there is any way to easily convert my 2023 and 2024 client files to ProSeries without having to manually do it. I know Ultimate Tax is a bit of a budget software and seldom used, but I only had it while I was doing volunteer work, so now that I have my own small firm, I needed to upgrade to something more powerful. The options in the Data Conversion tool don't say "Ultimate Tax" but not sure if anyone here has any experience or helpful tips.

For context, Ultimate Tax provides PICS Rules files when exporting returns, which I've never heard of. There is an option to export basic return info, like TIN, name, phone number, and return status, but that's it. I feel like I know what the answer will be, but hoping someone out there has had luck!

I see Ultra Tax CS in this list of programs that can be converted

https://accountants.intuit.com/tax-software/proseries/data-conversion/

Heres the instructions for uploading your files for conversion

https://accountants.intuit.com/support/en-us/help-article/migrate-data/using-proseries-tax-data-conv...

If these links dont help, a call to Tech Support is probably your next step.

If I remember correctly, Ultimate Tax is just a rebranded/service-bureau-model of either TaxSlayer or TaxWise (both of which seem to be on the list that is able to be converted).

I suspect if you treat it as TaxSlayer or TaxWise (I don't remember which), it will convert.
