Why is my Illinois corporation opening an Idaho state return when going to the state return??

Bookmark this website, you can track when forms will be finalized and ready to file.  It wont tell you when the actual product will be released, but it would be before the date that its able to be filed.

Try shutting off your computer and then going back into ProSeries.

If that doesn't do anything try running "repair updates"

If the doesn't work, try selecting Idaho and see if that opens Illinois or does it open Indiana?  Ok, that one is more out of curiosity.

If the first two steps don't do anything, try calling support.  Evidently one of the programmers flunked geography in school.

Edit - I read that as selecting Illinois got you an Idaho return.  If you only have a couple of states selected in your downloads and one of them isn't ready it will open up the state that is ready.

You can try uninstalling the state and then reinstall it.

Close ProSeries and use Windows Add/Remove Programs

Find ProWin 202X and click Uninstall. It will act like its going to uninstall the entire program, dont panic, it wont! It will open another window that lets you choose which part to uninstall. Find the state module and uninstall it.

Now restart the computer, and start Proseries back up and Log in, go to Install > Download New Products and make sure that the box is checked for the module you want to install, click Next and reinstall.
