Basic has the same layout as Professional for Sch D/1099B entries, dascpa's answer is correct.

Open the 1099B worksheet, scroll down to the entry table and double click on the entry line, scroll down that supporting worksheet to Part III (Im looking at a 2022 version of basic, so the placement may be a bit different, but its there!).
