Program not allowing California corporation extension to be electronically filed
Is there money owed? If not, an extension isn't necessary.
Yes, California requires the annual $800 franchise tax fee for S corps and requires that it be paid electronically with the extension request
What kind of error message do you get?
You can probably do it online at CA FTB website.
I struggled to get the CA LLC payments made in the program, SO much easier to just do it on the FTB WebPay website.
Is this the $ 800 for 2025 ( which should have already been paid)? I agree, have your client go to the FTB website & pay.
If it's the $ 800 for 2026 - it isn't due until 4.15.2026
