Old Software Can’t Always Refine. Has anyone ever used the second option in the ProSeries worksheet for tax-free bond income that gives you a choice of entering either an amount, or a percentage for private-activity bonds subject to AMT?
There must be some history behind this. Like, maybe 35 years ago there was an option for mutual funds to report it this way. Maybe there is still one somewhere in the world, that uses the percentage method?
