I am working on a 2023 North Carolina S Corporation return (CD-401S) where the business is paying the income tax as all owners are nonresidents. The estimates paid are greater than the tax due so I would like to rollover the refund to 2024 which I have done in prior years. When I enter the refund on the 2024 Estimated Income Tax line and then go to print or move back to the Federal return, the program moves this amount to the Refunded line. I am not able to close out the return to prepare for e-filing with an amount on the 2024 Estimated Income Tax line; it forces it to be refunded. Just seeing if anyone else has experienced this or might have a suggested work around. Thanks, Dan
