If form 1310 is required to be submitted with a 1040, can I attached a pdf of the signed form? Or can I get it signed via eSignature?

My client passed away since year end. The estate will be going through Summary Judgement so not executor will be named. Decedent's daughter was name personal rep. Since a signed form 1310 needs to be sent with the decedent's 1040, is there any way to efile this return by attaching a pdf of the signed form? Or must this return be paper filed?

Certainly try to attach and efile but not sure if PS can/will accommodate… you should get an unable to efile message/error when you review

If at first you don’t succeed…..find a workaround

Summary Judgment? Estate was in litigation?

"so not executor will be named. Decedent's daughter was name personal rep"

Executor and Personal Representative are the same thing. Different jurisdictions use different terms.

The more I know the more I don’t know.
