I keep seeing an alert in ProSeries that 2014 and 2015 are being decommissioned in Rightworks. The link for the article does not open anything. Has anyone been able to find the article?

When opening Pro Series, I see an Alert for decommissioning of Pro Series 2014 and 2015 in rightworks. The article link does not work for me. I am looking for a date for decommissioning. I have a new client with at least 10 years of unfiled taxes. Hope to get 14 and 15 complete before I lose access.

I don't have a link to the article, but ...

The IRS typically only wants 6 years of delinquent tax returns.  Does the state want all 10 years?

*IF* it is only being discontinued on Rightworks but still available on your own computer, you may be able to install them on your computer.

Hi @mark61online  thanks for posting in the Community about the dates of decommission for ProSeries 2014 & 2015. We will check on the alert as to why the link is not working. Hosted will decommission product years 2014 & 2015 in the Business, Advanced, and Premium Tiers, while product year 2018 will be decommissioned for the Solo Tier. While we do not have an exact date, as of right now, those years are unable to be installed and the end of May is the target for it to be removed completely. It will not remove the data associated with it and we would recommend leaving it there so it remains as a backup. If you need those years, as @TaxGuyBill said, install them locally.
