Client made contribution to an IRA and converted it to a Roth. He received a 1099R for the distribution code 2.
I don't know how to get it to flow properly in the return.
LOL, just saw that someone else posted the same issue a few minutes before me.
You enter the 1099-R, show it was completely rolled over, and you need to enter Basis, so that it is computed as taxable or not. The conversion is entered for the calendar year of the conversion, not the contribution tax year.
