Form 8582 Part IV Line 1C

I have been trying to input a prior-year unallowed loss for a rental income activity, but I haven’t been able to do so. Could you please guide me on how to enter it correctly? This is a new Form 1040.

You don't enter it directly onto the 8582. Enter it on the Sch C or E, lower section of the form.
