I am writing this again as I don't see it posted.
I am amending a 1065 for 2022 (it is an odd-looking return as it just has zeros where figures should be, but as it turns out, the company was not a partnership - but a sole proprietor. I will revise client's personal return.
When I went to efile the return for 22, it rejected it, saying the time to efile had lapsed. It is my understanding that the deadline would actually be 3/15/26. Wonder why the error?
Also, when I go to 23 and try to transfer the 22 file to 23, it won't let me do anything. Any ideas?
