Deleted a new client and transferred over it. I want to see if the extension was in fact filed. How can I do this without doing a restore.

I picked up a new S corp client for 2025.  I input the old return from 2024 which had been prepared by someone else so I could learn the client and transferred the client to 2025. I  think I might deleted the file and transferred back over it but I cannot see if the extension went through timely without doing a restore.  I have just completed the return and would hate to do it all over again.  Any help on letting me know if the orginal extension was accepted.

Go through all the steps you normally would to prepare for filing an extension in the client file including checking the First Extension Ready to Efile.     Then go to EF Center, highlight that client, select Update Acknowledgement Status.     If an extension had successfully processed it should pull the acknowledgement.

If you deleted it, look in your Windows Recycle Bin, thats where deleted files go.
