Windows 8 - for tax year 2022 will Proseries fail to load on Windows 8 Or load on Win 8, but not be supported if problems occur

I'm trying to avoid updating an older, occasionally used laptop from Win 8 to Win 10 or 11.  Will Proseries 2022 installation fail if trying to install on Win 8? The Support representative wasn't sure.

Here are system requirements for ProSeries 2022

    Don’t be too harsh.  It was their first day on the job and the person doing the training was busy getting their application in to get one of those nifty new jobs at the IRS.
