Question

Will 2026 ProSeries software include Michigan 1040 Schedule FTE Form 6072 and support all calculations related to Michigan flow through entity taxes?

Not so much a question for the community, more directed at ProSeries admins.  2025 software is a disaster with zero support for any calculations or data entry in Michigan 1040 related to flow through entity tax.

I am pretty confident that nobody at Intuit will respond to that.  If you are having issues, the best that you can do is keep pestering support until the issues are resolved or they file a restraining order against you.

You are probably correct.  So I called.  Support has no answers yet for 2026 software for Michigan form 6072 and the associated calculations.  Other software providers were able to get this form up and able to be electronically filed by the April 15, 2026 deadline for 2025 returns.  Why has ProSeries not followed suit on this, or atleast be prepared to have it ready for 2026 filing?

I will be following up with phone calls and keep watching in this and other forums for updates.  And I plan to share information as it becomes available.  Please do the same if anyone reading this has updates.  Much appreciated.

Hi @ekhosme We've shared this feedback with the appropriate team, and it's being reviewed for ProSeries 2026. While we can't promise it will be implemented in the 2026 tax program, the right eyes are on it.

If you haven't already, we also recommend adding it to the ProSeries Idea Exchange with examples of your business use cases. The Idea Exchange is one of the most impactful places to share feedback because other tax professionals can vote on ideas, which helps our development team prioritize and plan future improvements.
Thanks for sharing your feedback and for being part of the community.
