Why is the spouse's social security number appearing on the 2026 Forms 1040-ES? The spouse is NOT entered first on the Form 1040, the taxpayer husband is listed first.

It is my error. Both social security numbers are on the 1040-ES. The spouse's number is in the center of the form and that's all I saw. But upon closer looking at the form I then say my mistake. The taxpayer's number was at the far left-hand side at the top of the form.

weird, is taxpayer deceased?

If you use Print Preview and look at the 1040ES on the screen, do both names/SSNs appear?
