Why hasn't the return been sent to IRS or State?

I submitted a return on 2/26/19 and received notice that it was received by Intuit.  It's now 3/1/19 and I have not received word that it has been sent to the IRS or State.  What is the delay?

They scooped up a bunch of returns and put them on hold because of some potential issues regarding IRA distributions.  I think just about everybody has at least one or two returns on hold right now.  They should be bounced shortly and then they can be resubmitted.

It would not hurt to serenade them.  I had 5 IA  returns stuck a couple weeks ago but after I sung to them they were released back to me right away.  Try the old Humperdinck song?
