Why doesn't the Form 8938 automatically activate when you answer yes to question 7a on the Schedule B?
While I am aware my clients have to file a Form FinCen 114 if they have more than $ 10,000 in overseas bank accounts, why doesn't the Form 8938 automatically activate when you answer yes to question 7a? This could be easily missed if you're not careful.
