Why does self-employed health insurance purchased through the Marketplace and linked to the business from Form 1095-A not reduce QBI like it should?

The insurance purchased through the Marketplace and reported on 1095-A and linked to the individual schedule C is not reducing QBI for computing the 199-A deduction.

Because it is a 'bug'.

Until they fix it, when the tax return is almost finished, you should be able to Line 29 of Schedule 1 (the Self Employed Health Insurance deduction) on the proper line of the QBI worksheet on the bottom of Schedule C.
