Why did Proseries 2018 just delete an entire prepared return after an update installed?

They don't tend to delete, but they do hide some from time to time. First thing I would try is just exiting the program and opening it back up to see if the file is there - rebooting your computer wouldn't even be a bad idea as part of the process.
